Some words from our parents…
“Avigayle’s studio is made up of far more than crafts; without realizing it, children leave with values, a love of art and creation and a commitment to the greater community with an understanding of the city they live in…Avigayle’s studio model is one that is worth expanding and replicating. The education her students receive—a love of art, a love of Jewish heritage, a love of Israel, and a healthy dose of positive self-esteem—is invaluable.” –Deena Glickman, Katamonim
“Avigayle is investing her all in creating a community of young artists. Her vision is to make art accessible for all, and for every child – regardless of ability – to see himself or herself as an artist. She empowers each young person to access the inner voice inside …I sent two boys, ages 6 and 4, to Avigayle’s Monster camp. In one week she empowered my children to see themselves as artists, and they basked in the glory of their monster creations. With foresight and creativity, Avigayle fashioned a program that encompassed many forms of art and allowed for valuable self-expression. My kids were so proud of their work and boasted that they had “monster meetings” every day. Eitan, my four-year-old, was especially empowered by her support and started to talk about how to incorporate art into his life. It is apparent how much Avigayle enjoys the children and how skilled she is at understanding who each one is–his/her spirit, and what makes him/her sing inside.”
